Good intentions or  living with intention?

In early 2021, I picked a word to live by.

    That word was INTENTION.

But what does intention actually look like in daily life? It’s one thing to be full of good intentions. It’s another to live with intention. There’s a HUGE freaking difference between the two.

Being full of good intentions is wanting to do better, but not taking action. (Insert excuse here).

Years of having good intentions can actually lead to a lifetime of regret if the intentions are not acted on.

But truly living each year with intention can bring you your most fulfilled self.

Living with intention disables the autopilot you’ve put yourself on in your crazy busy life. It wakes you up from mindlessly going through the motions, and creates more self awareness in your day to day. You start to find more meaning and purpose in the little things.

Living with intention is choosing your best path forward each day.

    You choose to be active.

    You choose what you eat.

You choose what you do for a living.

    You choose to be happy.

You choose to read 10 pages a day.

You choose how you spend your money.

You choose the people you surround yourself with.

Living with intention gives you the opportunity to take inventory on what’s not serving you right now, and to change it. Is what you’re doing fueling your creativity? Your passion? Is it giving you more life?

Highly recommend a year of living with intention. Also taking recommendations on a word for 2022!
